Prat City launched Best Online Traffic School (licensed by the CA DMV) in 2018 with one simple goal: To help drivers pass their traffic school course with the least amount of time, effort and risk possible.

Then in 2021 we took things a step further by writing our own course content and getting it approved by the DMV. We were also approved to provide audio in English, which we offered at no extra charge.
In 2022, we got our course translated in Spanish (also licensed by the DMV) and became one of the only schools in the state to offer the course with a Spanish audio option (also free).
That’s when we took things a step further by launching our very own California DMV-Approved Mature Driver Improvement Course under our new brand, the Traffic Safety Institute.
And our goal was still the same as when we first launched, giving drivers maximum value at one low cost without any risk whatsoever.
In 2024, we expanded our offerings with new state-approved courses to serve even more drivers. We launched the TX Driver Safety course (approved by TDLR), CA Drivers Ed (approved by CA DMV), NV Traffic School (approved by NV DMV), and FL Mature Driver (approved by FLHSMV).
In 2025, we launched the Florida Wireless Communications Device (WCD) Course, officially licensed by FLHSMV, further expanding our commitment to accessible, high-quality driver education. And we’re not stopping there—plans are already underway to bring our trusted courses to new states like Virginia and beyond.
